Osteria Della Suburra
This restaurant does not take advantage of their favorable location to capitalize on tourists. The shop was located in the Monti neighborhood near The Colosseum and they serve amazing pasta dishes like carbonara and gricia together with a huge array of meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. A meal will cost around 25-30€, but beware because the place tends to be crowded and the service will be slow during busy days.

At first glance, the elaborate and cool-looking industrial designs of the restaurant will make anyone think that this is an expensive high-end dining place. Fortunately, that is not the case as pizzas start from €7 and salads from €10. According to Hostel World, there are also lighter choices for those who wants a low carb meal like their Pizza Cilieggina. One of the twists of this pizza is that it does not sport the usual tomato sauce but instead adorned with cherry tomatoes, rocket, baked olives, parmesan, and lashings of mozzarella cheese.
Pinsere
Pinsa is an ancient variety of pizza with an oval shape that can go with or without toppings. Prices for topped pinsas start from €4 where the huge selection includes pears, gorgonzola, walnuts and honey. The plain pinsas on the other hand costs €3. The place is quite small and the food are usually took out but there are some barstools provided where you can grab a bite of their delicious pinsa.

This is one of the best in the city in terms of ice cream where the products are absolutely gluten free and are not made with additives or artificial coloring.
