A woman in Portage, Indiana found 17 puppies and a dog on the side of the road. Yahoo News reported that Karen Read came upon a car near Indiana Dunes State Park on Friday and when she got closer the car sped off and left the dogs.

Turkish Airline's is facing a strike threat, reported CNN. The flagship airline of Turkey faces the possible strike after negotiations with the country's aviation workers union didn't go through. If the strike occurs it would go into effect at 3 a.m. local time on Wednesday said the President of the Turkish Civilian Aviation Union, Atilay Aycin.

Giant Rubber Duck in Hong Kong Bobs Over
The giant, inflatable duck floating in Hong Kong's iconic Victoria harbor has deflated and bobbed over on Wednesday. The 54 feet tall inflatable sculpture mysteriously keeled over. The floating duck is called "Rubber Duck" and the product of Florentijn Hofman, a Dutch artist. The duck arrived earlier this month hand will be on display until June 9.

Amputee Killed by Dogs: Carlton Freeman Dies After Dog Attack in South Carolina
A double amputee from South Carolina has died after being attacked by four dogs. The Associated Press reported that Carlton Freeman from Harleyville, South Carolina was dragged from his wheelchair by dogs. He was reportedly driving his motorized char on May 8 when he was attacked, Maj. John Garson the spokesman for the Dorchester County Sheriff's Department said to the AP.

One of Belize's largest Mayan pyramids has been essentially destroyed by a construction company. The Associated Press reported that the construction company was extracting crushed rock for a road-building project. The Mayan pyramid is called the Nohmul complex and it is a ceremonial center that dates back to at least 2,300 years.
