Delta Airlines, in their continuing promise of delivering the most advanced and high-quality in-flight experience to its customers, has partnered with renowned brand Alessi in bringing a massive upgrade to their serviceware during their flights.

First announced in 2015, the Delta-Alessi partnership is part of a multi-billion dollar investment of the airlines to further excel and reinvent their services to their customers. Several plans are already laid throughout this deal, including the addition of at least 250 new aircraft to its fleet; airport enhancement programs in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York and Salt Lake City; cabin modernization programs, and much more.

Starting April 1, the premium cabins of Delta Airlines will experience these new servicewares designed by the talented designers at Alessi. Tabletop accessories, crystal glassware, new bone china, flatware, and stainless steel serving pieces were among of the new in-flight Alessi products of Delta.

All the products were meticulously tested and impeccably designed by the airlines and Alessi. The items were inspired by the masterpieces crafted by some of the most renowned designers for Alessi such as Stefano Giovannoni, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Stefano Giovannoni, and the Campana Brothers.

In a statement made by Delta's Senior Vice President - In-Flight Service, Allison Ausband: "The Alessi for Delta collection is part of our continued investment in delivering a world class, global culinary experience that will elevate our customer inflight dining experience to new heights. At Delta we know that every aspect and detail of the travel experience matters, and partnering with Alessi allows us to bring an uncompromising level of elegance and service to the on-board experience."

An all new customer experience will be treated to the passengers of Delta's Frist Class Cabins, Delta One's cabins, and starting late this 2017, the Delta Premium Select. And although the lower cabins cannot get this one-of-a-kind treatment, other perks will be set aside for them, so no worries.
