"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is the fourth installment of the "Mass Effect" series, which is an Action-RPG third-person shooter video game. The upcoming game was developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms which will be released this coming March 2017.

According to The Verge, the upcoming game will be available in North America starting on the 21st of March 2017 and in Europe on the 23rd of March 2017. The game was described by BioWare as "the most ambitious Mass Effect game to date," which is also the first game in the series to launch on the current generation of platforms. The game was first unveiled in BioWare's E3 press conference in 2015, which has made the "Mass Effect" series fans very excited.

On the official website of the game the General Manager of BioWare, Aaryn Flynn quoted, "We appreciate your patience (and in fact, even your lack of patience in some instances) as we've been focused on completing the game."

He also stated that the game will be having a completely new story, characters, planets, species, and a different game-play mechanics. Based on his other statements, they might be taking longer because of the ambitious features they want to achieve.

According to Erik Kain from Forbes, the game will be launched in the same month as Nintendo Switch will be released, and it might be a good choice for the fourth installment of the "Mass Effect." There are some other big releases that is going to happen in March including "Nier: Automata" and "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands." In the same report, Erik Kain quoted, I predicted that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be a lot like Dragon Age: Inquisition. Fun but shallow, critically acclaimed."
