Nothing can stop Bandai Namco Entertainment from releasing a "Tekken 7" home console version this year. It was confirmed through an announcement made by the game's director Katsuhiro Harada in his Microsoft's E3 2016 press conference. However, the game's exact release date has never been confirmed as of now.

A statement by the director Katsuhiro Harada was reported on IGN, and he said that "Tekken 7" is on its way this 2017 and it will be available for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game was later on confirmed to be available on Steam for its PC version. A whole new pack of game-play changes will be seen on the upcoming game "Tekken 7," which was also announced by the game's director Katsuhiro Harada during his Microsoft's E3 2016 press conference.

In addition, Katsuhiro Harada also announced that Xbox Live Gold members may download the "Tekken Tag Tournament 2" during the current week of E3. The arcade version of the game was released in Japan on the 18th of March 2015, and its other version "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" was later on released worldwide on the 5th of July 2016. On the other hand, "Tekken Revolution" will be shutting its servers down effective on the 20th of March 2017, and this closing server might be an opening for the "Tekken 7's" home console version.

According to Game Spot, the "Tekken 7" home console version will be having an extra content. Story mode is just one of the biggest features that they have added, which is an addition to the arcade mode. There are other modes added such as art gallery which allows the players to take a preview on the previous installments.

In the same report, Katsuhiro Harada said that "Tekken 7" has a much better story mode compared to other fighting games where you basically load the game, and have each character state one or two lines before initiating battle. He also added that they made all these changes for the game to feel more immersive and story-mode focused.

So far, these are just the information we have gathered about the home console version that will be released early this year. "Tekken 7" however, is believed to be released by "Tekken" fans more or less after the "Tekken Revolution" has been taken down. Moreover, Katsuhiro Harada might be referring to "Tekken 7" on his recent post on Twitter. Watch the "Tekken 7" Trailer below, and subscribe for more updates!
