Gamers of Xbox One and Xbox 360 start marking your calendar for this coming January 2017. There will be a couple of games that will be released for free for a month. Some of the free games will start being released on January 1, 2017.

According to Game Spot, Microsoft has revealed the January 2017 "Games With Gold" lineup. Starting on January, the "World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap" will be offered for free on the Xbox One console, and on the same day "The Cave" will also be available for free on Xbox 360.

On January 16 the "Killer Instinct Season 2" will also be offered for free, and "Rayman Origins" for the console Xbox 360. The "Outlast" game is also included in the "Games With Gold" lineup, which was offered for free since December 16, 2016 until January 15, 2017.

Xbox 360 "Games With Gold" are also playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility, and don't forget to grab the freebies this December before the prices reverts back to normal. The "World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap" will be available for the whole month of January, and as for the "Killer Instinct Season 2" the game will be offered for free from January 16, 2017 until February 15, 2017.

According to IGN, the Xbox 360 game "The Cave" will be available from January 1 through January 15, 2017. "Rayman Origins" will also be available for free starting on January 16 to January 31 2017. On the other hand, the "Games With Gold" free downloadable games requires an Xbox Live Gold subscription.

Furthermore, in an earlier report from IGN the other "Games With Gold" for this December includes "Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition" available for download in Xbox One since December 1 through December 31, 2016. "Burnout Paradise" was also available for download for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 since December 16 through December 31, 2016.

Most of the "Games With Gold" free downloadable games have been anticipated by many Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers, and so start marking your calendar for the dates of the free offers stated above.
