Cathay Pacific, Hertz Announce Partnership

The Hongkong-based international airline, Cathay Pacific, has recently signed a new partnership with Hertz International. Cathay Pacific passengers would now get tons of discounts and exclusive offers on their car rental needs worldwide.

Starting off, passengers from the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia will enjoy a promotional 20% discount next year valid until January 31, Asia Miles members will be able to collect up to 2,000 miles on rentals, and Marco Polo Members are entitled to exclusive complimentary car class upgrades, thanks to this new partnership.

To elaborate, both Marco Polo and Asia Miles members who made Hertz reservations will get up to 10% off on car rentals; for Marco Polo Club Green and Silver members, one car class upgrade will be given, while the Gold members of the said club will get two car class upgrades for free, depending on the dates of availability.

This is an exciting venture for both Cathay Pacific and Hertz International. This agreement would broaden out their markets and increase customer satisfaction with their exclusive perks. For Cathay Pacific, this is one of their recent customer service offers that are non-flight related, promising customers exciting offers even when they get off the plane- available only when they use the airlines' website.

In the announcement, Cathay Pacific Holidays Managing Director Roberto Abbondio said: "At Cathay Pacific, we care about our passengers' experience at every stage of their journey - from the moment they visit our website to make their booking until they reach their destination and beyond."

"This exciting new partnership underlines our commitment to a 'Life Well Travelled'. Providing our customers with more choice and convenience beyond our award-winning flying experience is very important to us and we are delighted to be teaming up with Hertz Global, a company that has built a well-earned reputation for world-class customer service."
