Spoof photographs of U.S. president-elect Donald Trump was published in a book by artist Alison Jackson. The artist self-published her work as a sign of her protest for potentially suppressing artistic freedom. She was quoted on The Guardian saying, "If we start compromising artistic freedom, that's not a happy place. Whether it's artists or cartoonists or satirists, there has to be free and radical thinking. Without that we get into the realms of dictatorship."

Jackson managed the printing of her controversial book called "Private," it was released at the end of October. Some of the photos are very provocative, spoof of the president-elect being intimate in the Oval Office with Miss Mexico, a picture holding a rifle and one of the target has Hilary Clinton's face and an image showing a Trump character with Ku Klux Klan members. The Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is a white supremacist group that has history of acts of terrorism such as murder, arson and bombing.

She said that she was warmed by her lawyers about featuring a Trump lookalike in some not-so-good circumstances. But the artist was determined to follow her beliefs and have faith in what she does so she continued to publish. "Of course, I'm worried about being sued. It is horrifying to find out that you could be sued by a president. But that is better that not being able to work," she stated in a report. According to her, she has never met any legal threats in her career but was warned by her lawyers of the possible result of her actions. But the artist is firm for her fight counter to self-censorship.

Alison Jackson is a British artist and popular for her realistic photographic representations of the most notorious personalities. Some other photographers who took photos of the controversial president-elect is Chris Buck who said, "I see this as a portrait of a broken man. That's my personal interpretation. Even the fact he ran for president is bizarre. I think he's a damaged person. I don't think he really wanted to govern, he just liked the idea of being president."
