The final part of video game studio company Naughty Dog's popular action and adventure-themed third-person shooter series, "Uncharted" will be released as a stand-alone video game. The new video game, titled "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy", was also announced to be a downloadable content from their previous game, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End".

According to Forbes, the new Uncharted game will star Chloe Frazer, a character who was introduced in the second Uncharted game, "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves". The game will be also offered as a season pass from the previous Uncharted 4 game, though the season pass, and a Digital Deluxe version of the game, can only be bought until the 13th of December.

Also, as stated by Time, the game Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will also feature the South African leader of a paramilitary company who turned into a treasure hunter, Nadine Ross who once faced against the company of Nathan Drake, the protagonist of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End". She will be teaming up with Chloe Frazier in this game where the story takes place in a setting similar to the Middle East. As of now, it is not yet certain about when did the events of the game happened based on the series' timeline.

The overview of "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" can be seen at the official game's cover description, which stated: "In order to recover a fabled ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer, Chloe Frazer must enlist the aid of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross (from Uncharted 4: A Thief's End). Together, they'll venture deep into the mountains of India in search of the legendary artifact. Along the way, they'll learn to work together to unearth the mystery of the artifact, fight their way through fierce opposition, and prevent the region from falling into chaos." Fans of the game will be able to play "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" on the Sony PlayStation 4 console next year.
