'Hitman' News: Update For November Shows Major Improvements Including Offline Profiles

A signficant update for Hitman has been released. The November update for Hitman is said to feature significant improvements.

According to gaming websites GameSpot, IGN and VG247, Hitman's November update brings an offline profile for unlocks earned online. Opportunity completion checkmarks have also been added. The November update is huge. Developer IO Interactive tells fans to expect more major updates in the coming weeks and months.

The new update for Hitman is already available. It has added new features while changing others. The required update will introduce an offline profile, display adjustments, stability fixes, and many others. The latest installment in the Hitman franchise was released recently. The November update includes fixes as well as general improvements.

According to a blog post by developer IO Interactive, the update is the first of a series of planned major game updates that will add new content and improvements before Hitman's physical release next year. IO mentioned that the game will be released on physical disc media on January 31, 2017.

One of the most, if not the most, prominent and noticeable features included in the mandatory November update is the offline profile. The offline profile saves all the items earned while connected online and makes them available when offline or disconnected. The offline profile permits players to bring unlockable items collected while online to the offline mode of the game. This includes all mastery items, all weapons and gear, starting/pickup locations, Challenge Pack unlocks and Elusive Target suit rewards.

All unlockable items collected online will be stored to the offline profile. This means that, if the connection to the servers is lost, all the hard-earned rewards will still be available to players. Players will still need to connect to Hitman's server initially to unlock new items. Anything unlocked after that will be accessible offline.
