Overwatch's reaper now has a badass $150 statue. The newest premium collectible from Blizzard's Overwatch is an awesome and insanely detailed statue of Reaper. People who want one or two will have to be patient.

According to gaming websites Polygon, PC Gamer and GameSpot, Blizzard has introduced an all-new Overwatch collectible, a new statue based on the hero Reaper. Fans of the Overwatch hero or people who are just interested in cool collectibles can finally use that $150 they have been saving for occasions like this, on that awesome statue.

The fine-looking statue stands 12 inches tall. It features the shotgun-wielding character in his Death Blossom ultimate ability. It shows reaper extending his arms, holding his shotguns and just appearing menacing with his impressive wingspan and height. The statue was sculpted by Blizzard senior sculptor Brian Fay and is made of polystone.

Each statue is invidually hand painted which means that there could be small variations between each one as noted by the Blizzard store page. There is a limit of two per customer, but they will have to wait to get any since they are not yet available.

People can pre-order the statue as part of one of two waves. The first wave will ship before the end of March 2017 while the second wave will ship before the end of Sptember 2017. Reaper isn't the first Overwatch character to get a premium statue. That distinction belongs to Tracer whose statue was released months before.

Tracer's statue quickly sold out her first production run. Brian Fay also sculpted Tracer. Tracer and Reaper are just two of the 23 available heroes of Overwatch. Overwatch was released May 24, 2016.

Blizzard started accepting pre-orders for Tracer's statue in November 2014, a year and a half before the game was officially released. Customers started receiving the first shipments of Tracer's statue in the second quarter of 2015, over a full year before the game had its retail release. Reaper was announced and will ship after Overwatch has already been in wide release.
