B. Smith found in NYC came after an hours-long search Wednesday for the former model. B. Smith found occurred following a report of her having gone missing; authorities said.

The celebrated restaurateur was reportedly found in a café in New York City today. The 65-year-old, who admitted to having Alzheimer's disease this summer, was last seen taking a jitney from New York to the Hamptons Tuesday at about 11 p.m., reports CNN affiliate WABC.

Thankfully, she being missing didn't last for long. B. Smith, found, occurred as her daughter checked with the jitney driver after she didn't arrive in Sag Harbor as scheduled Tuesday. Her daughter found out that she got off the bus in Southampton.

Smith's husband, Dan Gasby, reported her missing and pleaded the public for help.

Fortunately, the La Parisienne Coffee House's proprietor in NYC recognized Smith after she came in this morning. With B. Smith found, the proprietor immediately called the Sag Harbor police.

After B. Smith found, her daughter picked her up at the restaurant in New York City Wednesday afternoon, not far from a former residence of hers, WABC reports.

Apparently, she went missing after getting off the jitney at the wrong stop, and then returning to New York, according to CNN.

According to Gasby, B. Smith found comes as a huge relief since his wife had never gotten lost before.
