Nigeria missing girls found as an official of the Nigerian military claims he knows the kidnapped girls' whereabouts. The information about the Nigeria missing girls found reportedly came from a top Nigerian military official.

According to CNN, the Nigerian military official believes he knows the whereabouts of the Nigerian girls kidnapped last month. However, a state news report said Monday that according to the official, the nation's military will not be using force in order to try to rescue the Nigeria missing girls found.

Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh asked, "We want our girls back. I can tell you that our military can and will do it, but where they are held, can we go there with force? Nobody should say Nigerian military does not know what it is doing; we can't kill our girls in the name of trying to get them back."

The Washington Post reports that Badeh's comments on the Nigeria missing girls found were reported by the News Agency of Nigeria, a state-run news service.

Badeh reportedly said, "The good news for the parents of the girls is that we know where they are, but we cannot tell you. We cannot come and tell you the military secret, just leave us alone, we are working to get the girls back."

Meanwhile, Pentagon spokesman Adm. John Kirby have responded to the news of the Nigeria missing girls found. He told CNN that U.S. officials were not able to confirm the report.

It has been a month since more than 200 schoolgirls were kidnapped in northern Nigeria by the militant group in Nigeria, Boko Haram. The act took on the internet by storm and drew international condemnation. It has spurred different campaigns, most especially on Twitter with the hashtag BringBackOurGirls.

The effort of the Nigerian military with the Nigeria missing girls found came after terrorist group Boko Haram abducted an estimated 276 girls on April 14 from a boarding school in Chibok as the girls were having their exams. According to CNN, the Nigerian military have suffered an embarrassing setback when it retracted a report that nearly all the kidnapped girls were released.

Fortunately, dozens of the girls were able to escape the clutches of the Boko Haram. However, more than 200 girls are still missing or most probably held captive.

Before the reports of the Nigeria missing girls found, Nigerians and others have accused their government of not acting swiftly or efficiently enough in order to protect the girls who have been seized.

Boko Haram translated in English means "Western education is a sin" in the Hausa language. The militant group reporteldy aims to impose a stricter enforcement of Sharia law across Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation. Africa is currently split between a majority Muslim north and a mostly Christian south.
