The Chicago Bears will try to avoid a 0-2 hole but doing it could be a tall task against the NFC powerhouse San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco, California. What's at Stake?

Chicago - The Bears, coming off a tough 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the opener, will gun for a win in their second try this season. However, winning against the 49ers in San Francisco has been elusive for the franchise since 1985 - the year Chicago went all the way to a Super Bowl title.

San Francisco - For the 49ers, last week's 28-17 victory over the Cowboys was an optimistic start in a season that saw them struggling to make it into the postseason after missing key players in their defense.

However, seven-time Pro Bowl line backer Patrick Willis believed their season-opening win just proved that they are still a force to be reckoned with on the defensive end, despite losing Aldon Smith (suspension) and NaVorro Bowman (injury).

"Everyone that's been talking about our defense, about how we won't be as good and what not, I don't get caught up in all that," seven-time Pro Bowler Patrick Willis said.

"The only thing that matters to me is how we perform on the field on game day with whoever is on the field. Those guys that aren't with us, they are certainly missed and hopefully they'll be back soon, but right now, we just have to focus on those guys that are out there."

Who's To Watch?

Sunday's night game between the 49ers and the Bears will feature the battle between veteran signal-caller Jay Cutler and explosive young quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Cutler covered 349 yards with two scores and two interceptions in his season-debut, while Kaepernick completed 16 of 23 passes for 201 yards and 2 TDs in a win against the 'Boys. These two talented quarterbacks are expected to trade bombs throughout the game, but only one will be clutch enough to lead their team to a win.
