China is one of the world's best travel destinations because of its unique culture and amazing tourist spots. The Great Wall of China is one of the world's most visited spots with 2.5 million visitors every year. Traveling within the country is further enhanced by its high-speed trains that are considered the biggest in the world.

The trains travel at the speed of 186 mph or 360 km/hr. At present, there are 2,300 pairs of high-speed trains. In 2020, the country plans to bring high-speed bullet trains with a maximum speed of 400 km/h (250 mph).

The main purpose of the trains is to connect Asia, Europe, and Africa along Silk Road trade routes. This will benefit markets that are within the Belt and Road Initiatives as per People's Daily.

Travel & Leisure reported that the trains are expected to reduce travel time and the energy consumption of the trains which cost is charged to the riding public. The trains will use new materials like carbon fiber and an aluminum alloy that reduces weight and enhance energy efficiency as explained by Engineer Quiao Fend of the CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co.

For the practical traveler, this is good news because more places can be explored in a short span of time because of the speedy transportation. They also save on their budget that can be used for other purposes like food and souvenir items.

Being fast, punctual, convenient, cheap, safe, and comfortable, this is a good way to market for tourism. Eventually, the industry will benefit in terms of tourist influx. In three years time, this innovation will surely come to pass as the country is already operating high-speed trains.

The Chinese bullet trains are not only beneficial to its tourism industry but also for the economy as a whole since products from Africa, Europe and parts of Asia can be transported fast and cheap. China's technology is fast developing and one is its creation of the world's fasted trains.
