Xiaomi is a Chinese electronics company and is the 5th largest smartphone maker in the world. The "Mi 6" and the "Mi 6 Plus" are the latest addition to the "Mi" Series, and there has been news recently that teased the release of the awaited flagship devices.

Gizbot reported that Xiaomi CEO confirmed that the "Mi 6" will be launched on April 11. Lei Jun announced this on the company's live stream, and although he did not share any other information, it's rumored that the "Mi 6 Plus" could be launched during the same date.

According to Hi-Tech Gazette, the features of the "Mi 6" have been leaked from the phone's box itself. Images have been released showing the device with the box, and a sticker on its back is also shown. The "Mi 6" has a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM and a huge internal storage of 128GB. Based on the image, the display is about 5.15 inches.

Meanwhile, there are also leaked images of the "Mi 6 Plus," and the photos show the front and back side of a phone that looks like the renders of the "Mi 6 Plus." The leaked images show the device with a glossy black finish, and thin front bezels. There are almost no bezels on the side of the device.

One very interesting detail about the leak is the dual camera. The rear side of the device image show this, and its coupled with a dual LED flash. This has not been confirmed, though. Other alleged details of the "Mi 6 Plus" include a 5.7-inch display panel, along with a Full HD resolution. It is also said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.

Both the "Mi 6" and the "Mi 6 Plus" are rumored to have iris recognition, and a waterproof build, plus a wireless charging. If all these rumors are true, the "Mi 6" and the "Mi 6 Plus" are going to be real beaties. April 11 just can't come soon enough for fans that are dying to wait the reveal.
