A drunk mom had to have firefighters rescue her after she got stuck in a high chair. The woman, Serena Curtis, 31, who lives in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom had to call the fire department after she got stuck in her son's high chair. The woman had reportedly become stuck in the tiny chair after a girl's night with her friend a obviously one too many bottles of wine.

The Huffington Post reported that Curtis had her friend Jade Dickerson over for some wine. After hanging out the Curtis apparently decided it would be funny to sit in her son's high chair after a few drinks and unfortunately for her, got wedged into the child-size chair. Dickerson filmed the incident and tried to help her out, but eventually the fire department had to be called.

The Sun reported that Curtis and Dickerson had drank two bottles of wine.

Curtis, a mother of three, decided it would be a good idea to sit in her son's highchair and once she got in, was unable to get out. The Sun reported that the two Curtis even went outside for a smoke break, while stuck in the high chair.

Eventually after trying to get out of the chair for a while in a drunken failed attempt, the giggling duo called the fire department while Dickerson caught the embarrassing event on her phone.

"I was so embarrassed. I just had a dressing gown on, but luckily part of the chair was hiding my face.

"It's my son's highchair. I haven't told him yet. I'll wait until he's a bit older," Serena said to the Sun admitting her mortification. "We were a bit merry and I decided to do it for a laugh. I'm glad the fire brigade realised it was an accident."

The Sun reported that a spokesperson for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue confirmed that they did respond to the usual event.

According to kidsindanger.org, CPSC Nursery Product reports, that there "have been at least 11,700 high chair related injuries among children under the age of 5 since 2009. Babies can slide downward in the highchair seat and strangle when their heads are caught on the trays or waist belt and crotch strap. On average, two children die each year in high chairs." Adults however, is a whole other story.

Surprisingly, or perhaps not so surprisingly, this isn't the first time that someone has been stuck in unusual places. The Huffington Post reported that in December 2012 a man from San Francisco got stuck in a ventilation duct.

Earlier this month the Associated Press reported that a woman in Portland, Oregon fell and was stuck in a small opening between two buildings. Firefighters had to cut a hole in the concrete, used an airbag and had to use a soapy lubricant on the space to set her free.
