The highly anticipated jailbreak for the recently released and currently the fastest selling hybrid console in the market, the "Nintendo Switch" has been achieved. This breakthrough is achieved by no other than Luca Tudesco.

On March 13, Luca Tudesco took to Twitter his latest accomplishment. He just accomplished the first jailbreak in the history of "Nintendo Switch." For those who do not know the guy, he is the one responsible for the "Yalu Jailbreak" that is currently enjoyed by iPhone and iPad owners.

Achieving a Jailbreak or Root Access on a particular device gives users limitless possibilities. There are just a lot of things that one can possibly do to the device without thinking about limits set by the manufacturer. In other words, you can freely install any tweaks, or modify the user interface of the device beyond the set boundaries. For those who are used to the iOS jailbreak, this news is nothing less than great.

This latest "Nintendo Switch" Jailbreak is indeed one of the ultimate highlights in the gamers' world. However, there are several things that we have to take note of before getting too excited. One and probably the most important is that the jailbreak is not yet available to everyone. At present, the breakthrough is a work in progress and there are more things that need to be worked on for it to be readily available.

In addition, there is no developer at this point yet working on the things that will come right after the jailbreak. This means that even if the jailbreak is available, no emulators, tweaks, or even software for the succeeding stages necessary can be downloaded yet. It will come soon after some time but definitely not now or within the week. When the jailbreak is readily available, we might see amazing things that we can do with the "Nintendo Switch."
