"Google Pixel XL" is among the top favorite android smartphones at present, however, "LG G6's" latest entry in the market seems to threaten the king of android's reign. During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 on Feb. 26, LG officially debuted its latest flagship smartphone, the LG G6. The latest player in the Android smartphone market is a thrust of the top of the line specs and features. The device boasts of a waterproof build, massive HDR display to name a few.

Among the key specs that the "LG G6" takes pride of its camera. The device has a dual-rear camera system with a couple of 13-megapixel cameras. It has a sensor that features a 125-degree wide angle lens that is capable of providing the same field of vision as that of the naked eye and has a f/2.4 aperture without autofocus. The other camera has a f/1.8 aperture equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) as well as phase detection autofocus. The "LG G6" sports a 5-megapixel selfie front cam with a f/2.2 aperture with a 100-degree wide-angle lens.

The "Google Pixel XL," on the other hand, is equipped with a 12.3-megapixel rear camera, f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus as well as laser autofocus, without the OIS. It has an 8-megapixel selfie front cam with a f/2.4 aperture.

In terms of software, the "LG G6" and the "Google Pixel XL" run Android Nougat out of the box. The "LG G6" has the company's own LG UX 6.0 on top of Android, offering a number of spotless features to take advantage of the 18:9 aspect ratio. Meanwhile, Google Pixel XL runs on Android Nougat without the bloatware. The Pixel series aims to offer a pure Android experience. Comparatively, it provides a more distinguished interface than what the LG G6 can offer.
