In 2017, Apple will not release an "iPhone 8" but instead, it will introduce the iPhone Edition. Reportedly, this is the company's way to celebrate its 10 years in the industry.

As early as 2016, talks of Apple's "iPhone 8" have been rife. The Cupertino-based company's upcoming iPhone is among the highly anticipated flagship device that will be launched this year. There is not a single week or day that the said device was not mentioned. However, the most recent speculation underlined that Apple will not be releasing the popular iPhone and instead will release iPhone Edition.

The reports go on revealing what the latest iPhone Edition will look like with images and videos highlighting its interesting specs and features. According to the report, the iPhone Edition will be Apple's way of celebrating the 10 years anniversary iPhone. Among the many impressive features revealed is the already known wireless charging.

However, the previous long-range wireless charging capabilities will not be relevant anymore. This time, it will utilize the Qi Wireless charging technology. This is the same technology that is alleged to be on LG and Samsung flagship phones.

Another remarkable iPhone Edition feature that was revealed is the most iconic breakthrough, the 3D Touch Gen 2. This is an exclusive Apple feature that has not yet paralleled with any of the company's rival until now. The latest version reportedly is more efficient and precise as compared to its previous version. On top of that, a 3D selfie camera, which will be integrated with facial recognition as one of its security features will also be introduced.

Apart from that feature, the upcoming iPhone Edition is said to sport a full OLED technology. The highly speculated glass design was also reported to be one of the upcoming phone's feature. Reportedly, Apple will do away with its aging frame and fully have an all-glass design, giving their latest flagship device a sleek look. Moreover, it will also have an L-Shaped battery, and a larger battery pack.

Apple's latest flagship phone speculated to be the iPhone Edition is expected to release in September 2017. Allegedly, this highly advanced smartphone device will sell around $1,000 per unit.
