Most of the time, once the credits of a movie start rolling, we automatically head to the theater's exit. However, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" director James Gunn said don't be in a hurry to go home.

According to Entertainment Weekly, when a fan asked Gunn on Twitter if there would be mid and post-credit scenes, the director replied, "all I'll say is, unless you have to rush out because your mother is dying, stay through the entire end credits."

Collider reported that "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" will very much be setting up events for "Avengers: Infinity War." Others say stingers for either " Spider-Man: Homecoming" or "Thor: Ragnarok" may be showed.

Volume 2 is set a few months after the first movie, and the Guardians travel throughout the cosmos while struggling to keep their family together. They are also going to help Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage.

Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Kurt Russell, Pom Klementieff, and Elizabeth Debicki will be in the movie, and it is written by Gunn and produced by Kevin Feige. Russell will make his MCU debut as Quill's father, Ego the Living Planet. Gunn said that Quill will be the only earthling that is important in Volume 2.

Gunn has previously said that he probably won't structure Volume 2 in the first one because what fans like about the Guardians is because they are fresh. He said that the sequel will be different, adding that he hope to introduce more female characters in the upcoming movie.

The official synopsis of "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" says that the team will continue their adventures, and old foes will become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to help the Guardians. The movie will be released on May 2.
