The most recent episode of "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 showed the Legends capturing Rip, and he is now in the Waverider with the team. However, he has forced the Waverider to crash, which left the team stuck millions of years in the past.

Rip forced Gideon to release him by speaking a special phrase, ComicBook said. The team found out, and Rip activates the ship's self-destruct code, but he is knocked out by Mick, but it was too late. The Waverider crash-landed in the Cretaceous period - the same era where Ray was once stranded where he was chased by dinosaurs.

Sara and Jax dived into Rip's mind, and they found out that the reason why Rip is currently in his evil-version is because Thawne messed with his mind, and so Rip thinks that his friends are evil, Entertainment Weekly said.

Sara and Jax had to fight off their evil counterparts, and while they were fighting the evil Atom and Heat Wave, the bracelet that's supposed to help her return to the real world gets lost. Finally, Jax activates his bracelet so he can wake up and return to the real world, and he uses electrical paddles to shock Sara awake. Rip is back, too, and it seems like he is his old self.

But "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 episode 13 still has not answered the important question: Where is the final piece of the Spear of Destiny. Now, in 1970, Thawne can be seen infiltrating NASA. Does this mean that Rip stashed the final piece on the moon?

The teaser for "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 episode 14 suggests that Reverse-Flash is about to pay a visit to the moon. The Legends journey into space to intercept Apollo 13 and the Waverider suffers massive internal damage and Ray is stranded on the moon.
