Princess Cruises Adds Four New North to Alaska Experiences for 2026

Eight Princess ships are set to get the new experiences.

Princess Cruises has announced the addition of four new North to Alaska experiences to ships sailing in Alaska for the year.

A total of eight ships will be getting the new experiences, including the debuting Star Princess.

Princess Cruises Adds Four North to Alask Experiences

According to Princess Cruises, the immersive North to Alaska experiences aim to bring "local personalities, culture and food, connecting guests with Alaska's rich heritage, awe‑inspiring scenery and natural wonders through authentic offerings, educational events and engaging entertainment both onboard and ashore."

The four new North to Alaska experiences are as follows:

  • The Glacier Experience: A Signature Princess Day: Ideal for those who want close-up views of the glaciers, it includes access to VIP viewing areas, opportunities to participate in Junior and Teen Ranger programs, and more.
  • Welcome to Alaska: Gives guests an opportunity to meet a Naturalist and enrichment presenters to learn about the North to Alaska program.
  • Après Sea: Elevated Post-Adventure Experience: Allows guests to unwind in an après-ski inspired lounge and even enjoy an extended happy hour.
  • Candlelight Concert Series: Fire & Ice: Guests will get to enjoy performances by Alaska singer-songwriters complete with the warmth of glowing candles.

According to a report by TravelPulse, the following ships will get these new Alaskan experiences aside from the debuting Star Princess:

  • Coral Princess
  • Discovery Princess
  • Emerald Princess
  • Grand Princess
  • Island Princess
  • Royal Princess
  • Ruby Princess

2026 is set to be a big year for Princess Cruises in Alaska. Aside from the addition of the new North to Alaska experiences, this year will be the largest Alaska season for the company.

Princess Cruises' expanded lineup features 180 departures as well as visits to 19 destinations.
