Japan is a place where vending machines can be found in almost every corner. There's an estimated ratio of one machine for every 23 Japanese that live in the country. But what's interesting is that these ones found in Japan are not your typical vendos that only dispense food or beverages. Here are some of the weirdest items found in Japanese vending machines.

Eggs

You just finished buying groceries at the store but then you found out you didn't buy eggs. Well, that wouldn't be a problem if you're in Japan because according to Money, you can purchase a bag of fresh eggs straight from a vending machine.

Surgical Masks

According to Independent, some Japanese people are sensitive when it comes to smoke, dust and other types of pollution. Hence the reason for vending machines that dispense surgical asks. It's also a good way for you to blend in with the locals by wearing a mask.

Adult Toys

Condom machines are already old-fashioned which is why Japan has taken it to the next level with their sex toy vending machines. It's for people who'd want to buy one but are too shy to buy it in person.

Dog Wigs

As strange as it may sound but Japan does have vending machines that sell dog wigs. Well, who wouldn't want their dogs to put on that crazy mowahk or blonde bob? Every dog lover would want to have this kind of vending machine in their own places.

Bags of Rice

Like most Asian countries, Japanese people eat a lot of rice.  It's no wonder why they have rice vending machines ready to satisfy those people craving for rice.

If you think you've seen it all, then think again because Japan has got a lot of surprises for everyone. If you're planning to visit the country, you might want to a close eye on Japan's weirdest items sold in vending machines.
