New surgical consultant Eliza Minnick in "Grey's Anatomy" is possibly going to make things at Grey Sloan worse. She's clearly not making Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) life easy when she got her suspended. Now Minnick (Marika Dominczyk) is going to implement Phase 2 of her teaching methods, and our favorite doctors won't take it very well.

Entertainment Weekly said that Thursday's episode will show Minnick implementing her Phase 2 methods. During an interview, Dominczyk said that her character's method will get residents to work, and that the attendings are way more hands-off.  Eliza believes that her method is tried and true, and that it's the only way to move forward.

Dominczyk also said that the attendings will not like the new phase, and it's going to take "a little bit of arm twisting to get there." Her character is clearly going to be hated by viewers, but Dominczyk is prepared. According to TV Line, the actress is just happy to be a part of the long-running show, "even if it's on the [negative] receiving end."

Hopefully, fans will begin to appreciate her character more when she will display her surgical skills in the next episode. Eliza will go "full-throttle with her teaching method," Dominczyk previews, adding that it's "definitely the biggest episode for Minnick" so far. The actress added that she hopes her character stays on the show. "I don't know if she's going to stick around, but it's been super fun playing her," she added.

Meanwhile, what is going to happen to Meredith and Alex? Will they ever get romantic? Fans are certainly hoping so, now that after the last episode, Jo seem to not have the same feelings for Alex anymore. Even Alex was surprised with Jo's somewhat cold treatment of him. "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
