The promotional video of "Doctor Who" for Season 10 titled "Look Who's Back!" features the return of Michelle Gomez as Missy, and she may just reunite with her old nemesis. Her return was confirmed when she was seen on the video as casually painting the side of the TARDIS.

While painting the TARDIS blue, she smilingly said, "I'll be coming out of this soon." Now fans are wondering if she is coming out of it, does that mean that she has been riding in the TARDIS all along? Also, if she is in the TARDIS, does that mean that she and the Doctor are friends again? Fans would have to wait until the series premiere on April 15 to know.

Meanwhile, Peter Capaldi has announced that he will leave BBC's "Doctor Who." There are some strong contenders as to who will replace him when Capaldi will leave at the end of this year, and the name of actress Maxine Peake is making some noise. Could she be the first female "Doctor Who?"

According to OK! Scottish actor Capaldi announced last week that he will finally hang up the sonic screwdriver. He said that the greatest privilege of being The Doctor is seeing the world at its best. But now, it's time to move forward, and his role could go to a woman.

Peake is rumored to join the show at the end of 2017, which may mean that she really could be the one to replace Capaldi. Reports say that the actress has become the second favorite star in the sci-fi series. The current favorite is "Skyfall" actor Ben Whishaw, but a lot of fans are rooting for a female "Doctor Who."

Yahoo! TV reported that the next doctor could also be Hayley Atwell ("Agent Carter"). The actress has previously expressed a desire to be the first actress to play "Doctor Who," and her Twitter fans seem to agree. When asked if she'd like to take on the role, Atwell said: "I'd like to BE Doctor Who."
