Marvel and Netflix released a trailer for their new superhero series, "Iron Fist." This will be the final piece in the lead-up to the "Defenders" series, and it is set to debut in a few months, and what's exciting is that it will feature other heroes, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

Iron Fist/Danny Rand has the ability to channel energy into his fists to create a destructive force, and his superhero costume is a yellow mask and green and yellow suit, Washington Post reported. Another thing that a lot of people notice is that Marvel and Netflix are taking the same approach as "Daredevil," where actor Charlie Cox (Daredevil/Matt Murdock) was revealed in his superhero suit just hours before Season 1 started streaming.

According to ScreenCrush, the new trailer was released ahead of the March 17 premiere, which features the return of Madame Gao and Steel Serpent teases from Daredevil Season 1. But what fans also notice is that the trailer did not show the hero wearing a superhero suit.

Now talking about Madame Gao, the character was first introduced during "Daredevil" Season 1, and at first she was shown as a fairly typical Asian gangster, selling heroin for the triads. However, there were also hints that there's more to her, especially when the heroin was emblazoned with the symbol of Iron Fist villain the Steel Serpent.

The new "Iron Fist" trailer features Madame Gao as the major antagonist. She seems to be behind the corporate machinations of the Rand conglomerate, and she also seems to have some knowledge about who Danny Rand is. Many fans hope that Madame Gao will be given some more depth, and "Iron Fist" is giving them an opportunity to address this.

Meanwhile, the synopsis for "Iron Fist" is: "Returning to New York City after being missing for years, Daniel Rand fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist."
