Japan is proving that it's the country of innovation! Now, Tokyo Olympics 2020 is already making news with how the country's government divulged to create lasting medals. It will be the first for any nation to have them made with recycled smartphones! Their citizens are now joining hands in helping out making things happen thus donating junk phones.

With the recent report about how Japan will creatively cement its mark on Olympics, many were awed by it. Surely, they will not need any more to personally ask for an old smartphone for it because many are already planning to donate some.

According to BBC's report, Japan has been one of the most leading technology hubs all over the world and its banking on that to make the best of Tokyo Olympics 2020. It's now the time for sports and tech to meet each other! Also, this feat will also be great for the nation's environment as its surely lessening possible thrashes on the way.

Tokyo Olympics 2020 will apparently use other small appliances with useful metals aside from mobile phones to create gold, silver, and bronze medals. Through a donation, the government will be able to accumulate all the needed number of technology they might need. They are already on the way of recycling.

"There's a limit on the resources of our earth, so recycling these things will make us think about the environment," Tokyo 2020 sports director Koji Murofu explains on CNN's news. Supposedly, the aim of the creative plan is also to help out lesser cost and resources the medals could have needed.

To take note, Japan has been a number of technological advancement where the environment is also their prime reason. This one is definitely not far from what they want today to happen as well. In all, smartphones will not only go to Tokyo Olympics 2020 winners' hands but also on their necks.
