The most awesome indie music festival is back at it again! On January 21, 2017, Singapore will host one of the awaited music festivals ever, with the organizers promising a much better, livelier, and more eclectic show.

St. Jerome's Laneway festival began in 2005 in the back of a local bar in Melbourne, Australia. This indie music event was greatly welcomed by partygoers, and as the years grow by they expanded into a globe touring music festival. This year, world-famous indie performers will grace the stage of Singapore this January, a one-of-a-kind party you don't want to miss.

This event will take place in The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay, in 18 Gardens Dr Singapore, Singapore. This will be the first stop for their seven-city, three-country tour this year, making this Singapore's ultimate music festival.

Tickets were already on sale starting September 7, 2016 on the SISTIC website. $185 dollars is the standard ticket price. However, those who will purchase 5 or more tickets may get a discount of 10% off on the standard ticket price, making each ticket available for only $166.50. Those who want to purchase their tickets over the counter may do so as well, but organizers have no guarantee how long the stocks will last. These tickets will cost around $200 and will only be available on the day of the festival from 10 am to 5 pm only.

The Laneway is open to everyone 6 years old over. However, every guest must present a valid photo ID as proof of age at the festival entrance. Those who are under 18 will not be given any kind of supervision, but they will be restricted access to some areas in the venue due to some mature content.

Guests aren't also allowed to bring cigarettes, drugs and alcohol in the venue. If ever security catches you violating their rules, they will escort you out of the concert grounds immediately. Chairs, recording devices, food and drinks are also not allowed.

The musical line-up this January is going to be amazing. Over 30 artists will be performing, some of them like Tycho, Tourist, Mr. Carmack, Sam Rui, Bob Moses, Gang of Youths, and many more.

So what are you waiting for? Nothing like good music to spice up the New Year. Hurry and reserve your tickets now for the biggest musical festival of the year.
