We'll be seeing more of Sheldon Cooper when he was a child as reports say the rumors are true that Warner Bros. and CBC is developing a spin-off for the rather egoistic scientist.

The spinoff is still in development. In fact, the production is still in writing says Variety. Even, Jim Parsons who plays Cooper will oversee the project with Chuck Lorre, Big Bang writer Steve Molaro and co-creator Bill Prady as executive producer.

However, a representative for Lorre told FOX411, "We are not commenting at this time."

The award-winning TV show will have Warner Bros. and CBS to renew the series as it is expected to for another two or three seasons. The making of this prequel will extend Big Bang's franchise and viewership.

Meanwhile, the whole cast is set to renegotiate their contracts for the 11th season. During the Television Critics Association's press tour on August, CBS chief Glenn Geller told reporters, "We are very confident that everyone involved wants more Big Bang past year 10."

What we know of Sheldon Cooper. As everybody is fixing contracts and talking about the new deal, let's talk about what will happen and what we will see if the spinoff would likely occur.

Sheldon grew up in a very religious home. He talks about it a lot in the show, especially when he talks about his mother.

Mary is a religious woman. We've seen Cooper's mom, played by Laurie Metcalf, and how kind and devout she is.

Will we get to see Pop-pop, Cooper's granddad? Sheldon mentioned that his grandfather died when he was five years old. If the producers will take us back to Sheldon's youth, will we get to see him alive? We think he played a significant role in Sheldon's life as Pop-pop encouraged his grandson to continue making Science.

We get to see more of the Cooper family. Sheldon's father will still be alive, and there will be more screen times for his twin sister and older brother.
