Netflix is giving everyone an early Christmas present: new shows have been announced, contracts have been renewed, signaling another year of binge-watching. Here are some of the confirmed titles that have been announced so far:

"A Series of Unfortunate Events" will be turned into a show on January 13, 2017. The Lemony Snicket story is set to follow the lives of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny, featuring actors Neil Patrick Harris, Louis Hynes, and Malina Weissman.

The recently-released teaser for Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij's collaboration has received much excitement, especially to those who are trying to fill the void that "Stranger Things" has left. "The OA," a science fiction show will have eight one-hour episodes and will be released on December 16, 2016--OK, this is technically not for next year, but it's pretty close.

"Wet Hot American Summer" fans, rejoice! The movie will make a grand reunion in "Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later." Created by David Wain and Michael Showalter, this 13-episode series will also be a follow-up to 2015's "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp." The best part? The old cast--including Bradley Cooper, Ken Marino, Janeane Garofalo, Christopher Meloni, and Elizabeth Banks will be returning.

"I've sort of known about it for several months. I haven't talked to [creators] David Wain and Michael Showalter too much about it in terms of what they're thinking about storylines," said Michael Ian Black in an earlier interview. "But as far as I know, everybody is doing it. I don't think they'd want to do it if the vast majority of the original cast weren't on board."

The Selena Gomez-produced "13 Reasons Why" (based on the 2007 novel by Jay Asher) will revolve around the story of Hannah Baker, a teenager who committed suicide. This one will reportedly have 13 episodes and will cast Dylan Minnette and newcomer Katherine Langford.

Bill Nye will have a talk show with everyone's favorite nerd, Bill Nye the Science Guy (William Sanford). Along with his immense knowledge and trendy bowties, Sanford will be hosting "Bill Nye Saves the World," a talk show set to be released next year in spring.

"Since the start of the Science Guy show, I've been on a mission to change the world by getting people everywhere excited about the fundamental ideas in science," said Sanford in a statement. "...With the right science and good writing, we'll do our best to enlighten and entertain our audience. And, perhaps we'll change the world a little."
