Since the winter season is finally approaching, campers will only have until the weeked to stay, dine, and enjoy the view while being one with nature at the Mount Rainier National Park before the 100 year old Paradise Inn closes on Monday, October 3.

According to The Seattle Times, the inn won't be open to visitors until May and is still accepting reservations for the weekend starting at $175 for 2 guests as long as slots are still available.

For campers who may want to book a reservation on the 100 year old inn, they may call them at 855-755-2275. Visitors are encouraged to call as soon as possible since slots are limited and will only be available throughout the weekend.

Starting October 11, the Henry M. Jackson Memorial Visitor Center at Paradise will adjust to winter hours at 10 a.m to 4:30 p.m but will have extended hours in preparation for the holidays on November and December. The Longmire Museum will still be open to the public daily, from 9:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m.

On the other hand,The National Park Inn at Longmire remains open year-round for lodging and dining services.

Campers will still have until October 10 to camp at Cougar Rock and Ohanapecosh but first-come-first-served rule will apply while the picnic areas will still be open later in October, depending on the weather.

The Climbing Information Center at Paradise will also close for the winter season and climbers are encouraged to either register at the Jackson Visitor Center or self-register at the Paradise Ranger Station.

Parking will be limited and flaggers will direct visitors to available parking on September 30 since a paving project will start. Campers may check the current status of roads, facilities, campgrounds and trails on the park website, www.nps.gov/mora.
