Jennifer Lawrence leaked nude photos, together with photos of a host of other A-list celebrities in Hollywood has become the most talked about topic in recent days. According to the Daily Record, Jennifer Lawrence leaked nude photos along with other celebrities' photos could just be the biggest celebrity hacking scandal in history.

The dozens of other celebrities hacked together with the 24-year-old actress include Aussie model Teresa Palmer, Michelle Keegan, Cara Delevigne, Cat Deeley and Kelly Brook.

According to multiple reports, the images started appearing on the website 4Chan yesterday following a hacker's claim of having broken into the iCloud accounts of 101 famous stars.

Just hours after the revelation, Twitter was abuzz with hundreds to thousands of tweets about Jennifer Lawrence leaked nude photos, along with naked photos of other famous celebrities.

According to SBS News, the hacker also claims to have hacked the accounts of Ariana Grande, Kate Upton, Kirsten Dunst, Kim Kardashian, Hilary Duff, Gabi Greko and Victoria Justice.

Probably the reason why Jennifer Lawrence leaked nude photos was most talked about was the number of nude photos the hacker claimed he had of her. The hacker said he has at least 60 photographs of the Oscar winner - some which were posted online in exchange for the online currency bitcoins, reports the Daily Record.

Jennifer Lawrence leaked nude photos seem to have been taken at different locations. Some appeared to have been shot by the "Hunger Games" star herself, while others appeared to have been taken by another person.

The Mirror has seen the photographs according to their sister paper Daily Record, and they said photos of JLaw ranged from bikini and lingerie to fully naked.

According to SBS News, the term "Jennifer Lawrence" immediately began trending on Twitter as soon as Jennifer Lawrence leaked nude photos came out.

Some were in full support of the "American Hustle" star using the hashtag #JenniferLawrenceWeSupportYou. They reportedly showed sympathy for the actress saying she was "only human" and some slammed the hacker saying everyone is entitled to privacy.

Twitter user Ryan Moss said, "Poor #JenniferLawrence more people take those kind of pics than you know, she's only human."

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence has responded to the controversy - albeit through her reps.

Her spokesman later confirmed the images to be genuine, but slammed the hacker for a "flagrant violation of privacy".

The spokesman said in a statement, "This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."

Because Jennifer Lawrence leaked nude photos aren't the only ones to have come out, other stars who have fallen victim responded to the leak via Twitter.

According to Yahoo!, "Scott Pilgrim Vs The World" actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead tweeted, "To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves."

She also expressed her sympathy for others victims and said, "Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked."

Meanwhile, other stars just flat out denied the authenticity of the images, including former child star Victoria Justice. She also took to Twitter to comment about her photos saying, "These so called nudes of me are FAKE people. Let me nip this in the bud right now. *pun intended.*"

Ariana Grande also commented on the issue through a spokesperson. Her rep told BuzzFeed that the nude images of her were "completely fake."

While other denied, some have yet to confirm. Upton's spokesperson reporetdly told HuffPost that they are looking into the allegations.

Actor Seth Rogen also weighed in on Jennifer Lawrence leaked nude photos and other stars' leaked photos and said via Twitter, "Posting pics hacked from a cell phone is really no different than selling stolen merchandise."

He added, "I obviously am not comparing women to merchandise. Just legally speaking, it shouldn't be tolerated to repost stolen pics."

Celebrities are often targeted by hackers. The most recent victims of phone hacking include Christina Hendricks, Olivia Munn and Blake Lively, reports SBS News.

The site reports that US authorities claimed to have arrested other hackers previously who claimed responsible for accessing and circulating nude photos of celebrities.

One hacker was identified as 35-year-old Christopher Chaney. He was arrested by Florida Police for leaking photos of Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis via email.

FBI agents were also able to arrest 19-year-old James Abrahams after he threatened to release nude photos of Miss Teen USA contestant Cassidy Wolf. He reportedly gained access of the photos through her webcam. Abrahams was apparently a serial offender, as revealed in investigation by the authorities.

Jennifer Lawrence leaked nude photos and those of the other celebrities are not only illegal but immoral. Though public figures, celebrities are still human and they deserve the right to privacy. In the meantime, other celebrities who have been affected by the leak have yet to comment.
