Compared to other vacation activities, a lot of tourists spend most of their time shopping when going on a vacation to the U.S. There are lots of downtown districts in the country that are perfect spots to satisfy that shopaholic craving of yours, so here are some of the best shopping streets that you need to know.

Broughton Street in Savannah Georgia. According to the Savannah website, the city is just filled with activities for everyone. There are music and food festivals, exhibits and architectural tours. Broughton Street is just every shopper's dream with it being transformed into a high-end shopping area.

High Street, Short North Arts District In Columbus, Ohio. Columbus is very famous when it comes to clothing and fashion because of some big retailers like Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch and Limited headquartered in the area. In fact, it takes a big chunk of the US' highest per capita percentage when it comes to fashion designers. Now, a lot of employees moved to Short North Arts District to put up their own shops and boutiques at High Street which totally makes sense why it's a shopping district.

Phillips Avenue in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. According to USA Today, the city of Sioux Falls is home to one of the best downtowns in the whole nation. There's a healthy collaboration between public and private sectors here and a good example would be its art-filled streets. But some of the highlights are the Duluth Trading Co., a national clothing retailer, and the M.B. Haskett's, a European-style food company.

Main Street in Chatham, Massachusetts. This place is filled with a wide selection of shops to choose from reaching to over 300 shoes, apparel, sporting goods and art stores. Aside from that, it also hosts weekly events perfect for people who just love to have fun.

Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. People called this place Dull-Ray back in the day, however, over the last 30 years, this Atlantic Coast town made some drastic changes turning it into a tourist spot. Now, this place is bombarded with visitors that reach to about 20,000 people a day because of its numerous shops and restaurants.
