After a short break, Cartoon Network announced on Twitter that Rebecca Sugar's hit TV series will return once again. Season 4's 22nd episode titled "Dough Out" is slated to air on May 8 where the official announcement was attached with a short trailer. The post also teased that the future may get overwhelming as the captions says that the series can get really intense.

According to the 49-second video posted by Cartoon Network on Twitter, Connie is hanging out with Steven and they are pondering that it is really nice to see they are having some peaceful days. However, he will learn that Sadie didn't make it home after the two of them hung out one night. The short trailer also previewed Steven fighting off new enemies but their identity still remains a mystery.

At first, there are some rumors claiming that Steven's adventure will be ending soon as there is no definite information whether the show will be renewed for a fifth season. Fans went crazy and are beginning to accept the impending end when the current installment went off the air without any notice. Fortunately, Cartoon Network dismissed the rumors when they announced the renewal of the series for a fifth season and the return of the current season.

As for the official synopsis of the upcoming episode, it says that Steven together with Connie will join Connie's father, Doug Maheswaran on a stake out hence the title "Dough Out." There are a lot of leaks circulating the internet claiming a lot of things but there are no confirmations regarding the matter. Avid fans are advised to refrain from believing theories and speculations that don't have any evidence to prevent the spreading of false rumors.

All in all, the only credible information that we had is the clips that were enclosed in the 49-second video of Cartoon Network. One of the few scenes that caught the attention of fans was Sadie's disappearance as where someone from Reddit claimed that Lars is the one who sought Steven's help to find Sadie. However, the most shocking part of the trailer was at the final seconds where a little kid's voice was heard saying "Are you my Dad?"
