Monkey D. Luffy is on the brink of life and death once again because of ingesting the skin of a highly poisonous fish that he caught. In the latest episode of "One Piece," the Sanji Retrieval Team encountered Sanji's sibling where one of them saved the rubber man from imminent danger. To much surprise of the fans, the episode will also feature Luffy's first kiss in the series.

The episode titled "A Deadly Poison Crisis! Luffy and Reiju!" kicked off with Vinsmoke Reiju boarding the Thousand Sunny and apologizing to Yonji's bad behavior. Brook remembered the Vinsmoke name to be a royal family that used to conquer North Blue by arms. Reiju affirmed Brook's statements commenting the skeleton of his vast knowledge and she revealed that even though they don't have any territories now, they still hold their royal status which gives them a seat at the Reverie.

Reiju turned her attention to the now unconscious captain and diagnosed that he has probably eaten the Armored Stonefish from the boiling sea. She claimed that the poison that the fish carries can easily kill a giant instantly which resulted in Chopper breaking into tears and losing hope. However, Chopper momentarily stopped crying when he heard Reiju claiming that Luffy was lucky because that certain venom is one of her favorite things.

Reiju then stooped to kiss Luffy and suck the poison from his lips which surprise everybody as reported by Anime News Network. While sucking out the poison from Luffy, the rashes are seen transferring to her and her wing-like cape fluttering and growing more circle patterns. Shortly, Luffy regained consciousness without no memory of what happened.

All in all, the series is progressing very slow which is actually very classic of "One Piece." The anime episodes are spread thin where there is less than a chapter covered. However, fans are still hooked up in the series as the future episodes will feature a bunch of new characters including Big Mom herself and Charlotte Pudding.

According to Crunchyroll, the upcoming episode of "One Piece" is titled "Totto Land! One of the Yonko Big Mom Appears," Luffy and Chopper drifted away from the rest of the group once they harbored on one the 37 islands surrounding Whole Cake Island. They will come upon a town made up of chocolates and there they will meet the lady Yonko and Sanji's soon to be bride.
