Fans of Disney's hit animated film "Frozen" are not letting go of the excitement as Disney announced a release date for the highly-anticipated sequel "Frozen 2." Last March 13, 2015, Disney released a shot animated film sequel titled "Frozen Fever." However, the short film is not enough to satisfy the appetite of the hyped fans.

The short movie featured the sister princesses of Arendelle where Anna is celebrating her 19th birthday. Being distant from Anna during the past years, Elsa is determined to give her sister the best party ever. However, all of Elsa's plans was delayed because she got colds and fever.

According to Blasting News, the film's producer Peter Del Vecho claimed that the second installment is now currently in writing process. Del Vecho even teased that the new movie will provide the viewers a better understanding of the first movie. "Frozen 2" will be released on November 27, 2019, however, the plot of the film still remains a mystery.

There are a lot of fan-made speculations regarding the future events that will revolve around Elsa and Anna. One of the popular theories is that Elsa is a lesbian where fans even made a petition to convince Disney and the filmmakers to give Elsa a girlfriend in the next movie. Though "Frozen" was closely based on Hans Christian Andersen's "Snow Queen," LGBT fans claimed that they relate and saw Elsa portrayed as a lesbian in the movie.

Meanwhile, Elsa and Anna are not the only ones from the long list of Disney movies that received a release date. "Star Wars: Episode IX," "Lion King" live action reboot and the fifth installment of "Indiana Jones" are among the few who are given a release date as reported by Variety. "Indiana Jones" was previously given a release date of July 19, 2019 but was later moved the following year on July 10, 2020.

On the other hand, "Frozen 2" will see the return of Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna and Josh Gad as the little and hilarious snowman, Olaf. The stars expressed their excitement for the upcoming movie in Twitter where Bell mentioned that the theaters will be literally frozen during the movie's debut.
