Xiaomi's latest flagship smartphone, the "Mi 6" is finally out of the closet. Despite rigid competition in the mobile phone market, the Chinese tech giant is ready to ride along with other big companies, such as Samsung and Apple.

The "Xiaomi Mi 6" is reportedly going to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, a chip that was first integrated into "Samsung Galaxy S8." Aside from its sleek design with four-sided 3D glass panel, which is made of stainless steel, the device has a lot more to offer when it comes to its specs. It comes in 5 color variants: black, blue, white and two versions of special edition, the ceramic and silver. Since it is called a special edition, the silver variant has an ultra-mirror reflective finish with four-sided 3D curves, while the ceramic has an 18K gold camera rims.

As it was aforementioned, the "Xiaomi Mi 6" will have a fast working internals because of its 2.45GHz Snapdragon 835 and a 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB internal storage. Obviously, the device's RAM is 2GB higher that what "Galaxy S8" has. Mi 6 will also sport a 3350mAh battery, which is another value higher that Galaxy S8. What is more exciting to this comparison is that the Mi 6 costs lesser than Galaxy S8 by half, according to Ars Technica.

Another addition to Mi 6's specs is a 12MP dual camera set up on the back of the device, which also has a 2x optical zoom and a wide-angle camera lens. It also features phase detection autofocus and four axis anti-shake function. Xiaomi seems to focus on the camera department. For its connectivity, Techmalak says, it will have a 2x2 MIMO Wi-fi support and it also supports 4G+ networks, which have a download speed of 500Mbps and upload speed of 100Mbps. However, "Samsung Galaxy S8" has an advantage when talking about the display. Mi 6 has the traditional 5.15-inch 1080p display and aspect ratio of 16:9 while Galaxy S8's display is bigger.

The "Xiaomi Mi6" is reportedly tagged with a price of $363 for the 64GB and $421 for the 128GB. The latest Xiaomi device will be released this coming April 28, first in China and afterwards, a global release will follow.
