Britney Spears may be giving Las Vegas a bit more. The 32-year-old pop star has been offered $12 million to extend her current two-year residency at Planet Hollywood's Axis theater in Sin City.

According to a report by the New York Daily News, casino officials want Spars to stay. A senior executive at Caesar Entertainment confirmed to the News that they want the star to stay until at least Christmas 2016. TMZ confirmed that Spears is close to making a deal with the company.

"Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not," Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner told The News. "She has been filling out the place every night, and she is enjoying it and is in good health."

Selesner says the Las Vegas gig is a good thing for Spear as well. "She has a good life, coming in on private jet," Selesner added. "She has a villa upstairs at Caesars and really enjoys it here - so why wouldn't she stay?"

Some may find the extension surprising as Spears has been called out for lip syncing during most of the 90-minute performance which she started doing in Dec. 27, 2013. However that won't stop fans from shelling out up to $300 to see the star perform.

Selesner says the company took a big chance by booking Spears originally. She is earning $30 million under the current two-year deal which is set to end in 2015 currently. But they say they're happy with the way things have worked out.

"You just didn't know what was going to happen," Selesner told The News. "But the fans loved her. And she has so many fans from all over the world, that the support has been fantastic."
