Someone was desperate to join the mile high club. A drunken British in her woman in her 20's was accused of having sex with a man that she just met in the bathroom of a Virgin Atlantic flight, while she was traveling with her parents.

Flight crew members on the Virgin Atlantic flight reportedly hd to intervene after the young woman, who happened to be flying with her parents, disappeared into the bathroom with a man that had been sitting next to her on the flight.  The woman got into a fight with the flight attendants when they tried to talk to her.  She was handcuffed to her seat and the woman was later taken away for questioning by US police, the Sun reports.

A passenger on the flight told The Sun about the incident, saying "She started getting heated with the guy next to her. They went into the bathroom and people could hear loud noises. The cabin crew forced to door open, then she really kicked off."

The incident reportedly happened on a flight from London Gatwick to Las Vegas. The woman was questioned by police but she wasn't arrested. She was simply released with a warning and was allowed to continue one with her vacation to Sin City.

The airline released a statement saying, "We do not tolerate disruptive behaviour on board."

This isn't the only time a couple was busted getting busy in an airplane. Jessica Stroble, 33 and Christopher Martin, 44, were arrested after engaging in oral sex on an Allegiant Air flight. There were forced to be a $250 fine each by U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge George Foley in Las Vegas.

Virgin recently launched a service which allows passengers to send drinks, meals or treats to other passengers as a way to encourage mid-air flirting, but some seem to have taken it a bit too far.
