Jiah Khan, a Bollywood actress has been found dead in her Mumbai home Tuesday. The 25-year-old actress lived in the Juhu neighborhood and her body was found hanged in her room by her mother. Reuters reported that a police source said that the death was not being treated as suspicious, though there was no suicide not found.

Khan whose real name is Nafisa Khan, was born in New York and lived in London before she moved to Mumbai and found fame in an umber of popular Bollywood movied including "Nishabd" in 2007.

US Weekly reported that Suraj Pancholi the son of actor couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab is being questioned as he was the last person to speak to Khan on the phone.

The Bollywood community shared their sadness via social media outlets like twitter.

"Just cant believe that someone as young and so full of life is just dead," filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma tweeted.  Varma was Khan's director in the movie Nishabd. She played the female lead in the movie and it was her debut performance.

"Never ever seen a debutant actress with more spunk and more spirit than Jiah when I was directing her in Nishabd," he continued. 'I don't know the reason what led to this but jiah was very depressed about her career and scared for her future."

Khan also found supporting roles in movies such as "Ghajini" in 2008  and Housefull" in 2010 which was her last film.

Actress Dia Mirza also tweeted that Khan was "too young and beautiful" to go while filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan added,

"Can't register that Jiah is now more. Worked with her in Housefull and she was so beautiful and such a good soul. Too young to go Jiah."

The Times of India reported that Khan lived with her mother and sister who were not home when she apparently took her own life.
