Kate Middleton's brother, James Middleton, has reportedly had to turn to his family for financial help after a $27,775 debt for his cake company. E! News reported that James owns Nice London Ltd. which he started in 2011 to sell Nice Cakes.

A member of his family reportedly paid the debt and he plans to keep the cakes coming.

"It is not uncommon for start-up companies to make a loss in the early stages of development and it is not something I am concerned about right now," James said to The Daily Telegraph. "On the contrary I am very excited as after running a pilot over 2012, Nice Cakes will be officially launching later this year with a brand new website and range of products which I am very excited about."

James also started The Cake Kit Company in 2007. 25-year-old James dropped out of University of Edinburgh in 2006 to start his own business, reported The Daily Mail. First he started with the Cake Kit Company and also runs Nice Wine Ltd which has a dormant account and Nice Cakes.

The Daily Mail reported that Royals were embarrassed about some of his products last year that included a cake named Stud Muffin which had a photo of a man with a caption that said, "A willy that wriggles and gives me the giggles."

James said to The Daily Mail,"Nice Group is a start-up company and as you can imagine there are overheads needed to start a company. I made the decision to finance the business myself along with a loan rather than go to investors. This has its pros and cons, it does mean things don't move as quickly as I would like but it does mean I keep complete ownership and control over my company."

Pippa Middleton recently came out with her entertaining book, Celebrate. The Daily Mail reported that it only sold 2,000 copies in its first week.

Pippa has also started writing a column for British Supermarket chain's magazine, Waitrose Kitchen. Her column will be come "Pippa's Friday Night Feasts," reported the Guardian.

The editor of Waitrose Kitchen, William Sitwell, said to The Telegraph, "Pippa will be an excellent contributor to the magazine, bringing with her a wealth of experience of entertaining, gained in part from working at her family's party business."
