It's that time of the year again: Amazon's Black Friday 2019 deals. It kicked off on Friday,  November 23, a full week ahead of Black Friday which falls on Friday 29 November. You'll save massively on smartphones, tablets, laptops, TVs, etc. Echo, Fire and Kindle devices are hot with sales.

According to Amazon, this year will be its "biggest ever" Black Friday event. The Amazon 2019 Black Friday sale will run for eight days from 00:01 on Friday, November 22 until 23:59 on Friday, November 29. This is after the Amazon Black Friday Countdown Sale ran from Monday, November 18 until the end of Thursday, November 21. Not to mention, they'll be adding the Amazon Cyber Monday which then runs from Saturday, November 30 through Monday, December 2.

The updated Fire 7 tablet looks much like its predecessor. A large bezel surrounds the display. The Fire 7's build and design is appropiate for a tablet that costs less than a newly released video game. It's so keenly priced that no other manufacturer can come close to surpassing its combination of features for the money. The Fire 7 (9th generation) is competitive even if it is ultra-cheap and conservatively designed.

This new Fire 7 has two fixed-focus cameras - one at the front and one at the rear. Amazon's digital butler, Alexa is now completely hands-free, which means you no longer have to hold down a button on the screen to talk to your trustworthy, smart assistant.

You can just double-tap to play or skip forward songs. And it has quick and convenient access to Siri by saying "Hey Siri." Apple likes to do something old in a new and attracting way. Wireless charging and a few other minor enhancements were added.

Its new feature is that it is waterproof (it can take a spill from the bathtub or pool without sustaining damage) and the flat front is easy to clean. You can drop this Kindle in fresh water for up to 30 minutes without destroying your ebook reader.  It holds thousands of ebooks over bluetooth. And if you're asking about its promised long battery life, the battery should last for six weeks. You can take it with you in your vacation without packing or having to lug around a charger.
