The "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" movie will be premiering in a couple of weeks, but there are still some details about the movie that's just coming out like Miley Cyrus being part of the movie as the voice of Mainframe, which is interesting to see.

According to a report from Screen Rant, the news was first tweeted by blogger Sarah Ruhlman during a press junket for the movie. The blogger tweeted the news during an interview with writer/director James Gunn and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer will be playing the character Mainframe, who is an alternate universe version of "The Avengers'" Vision. The Huffington Post reports that in the Guardians' future, Vision had evolved to make up the entire operating system of an entire planet and started calling himself Mainframe.

The report adds that the news of Cyrus voicing the character was also confirmed by Dave Bautista, who plays Drax in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." The former pro wrestler and actor said that he heard Cyrus was "uncredited and a voice somewhere."

That "somewhere" refers to the character Mainframe and Screen Rant said it would be interesting to see how Cyrus will perform in her role as the voice of Mainframe. The pop star actress has been a constantly popular figure since she debuted in the mid-2000s on Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana."

Cyrus has been known to upend conventional expectations and her inclusion in the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" movie as Mainframe's voice is another example of that. And with the movie slated to release on May 5, 2017, fans won't have to wait that long to see how the singer/actress would perform in her role.
