Tom Cruise-starring movie "Mission: Impossible 6" is finally lighting the fuse as production is finally on-going. It was confirmed by the movie director Chris McQuarrie that filming had begun through his Twitter post while posting a photo of them from the set.

"Mission: Impossible 6" is another film from Paramount which followed the 2015's "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation." This upcoming film will feature the return of Tom Cruise as he reprise the role of Ethan Hunt. As of now, the plot details were kept secret, however, the film is set to include casts like Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill, and Vanessa Kirky, Deadline reported.

On the other hand, McQuarrie was also the writer and director of the previous films that featured Cruise. These films were known the "M.I.: Rogue" and "Jack Reacher" and he even wrote the films "Edge of Tomorrow" as well as with "Valkyrie."

He is also the first director who handled the same film for the past two decades. Alongside Cruise, he will also be one of the producers together with Don Granger, J.J. Abrams, and Skydance Productions.

As per Stuff, "Mission: Impossible 6" is currently filming in New Zealand. It was on Saturday when the movie creator shared some of its photos of their location. Basically, the forthcoming film is already the sixth installment of the franchise.

Meanwhile, there were also paparazzi photos which claimed that the production also went to Paris, France for the shoot. It was posted online immediately after the announcement was made official by the movie director.

There were also rumors that the production team will be heading to Queenstown area in order to continue filming. Meanwhile, fans should expect that Cruise will leave them in awe again since there are really scenes wherein the actor has put his life on the line for the sake of work and passion to his craft. "Mission: Impossible 6" is set to hit the big screen by July 27, 2018.
