'One Piece' Anime Update: 'Whole Cake Island' Arc To Begin Soon; Visuals Released

Manga fans know that there have been a lot of talks lately that "One Piece" is ending soon. But for anime fans, no need to be sad, since the series still has a long way to go.

According to Anime News Network, the official website of "One Piece" anime revealed the key and character visuals for the new arc. "Whole Cake Island" will start soon, and it's going to show Sanji falling head over heels for Charlotte Pudding when he sees her picture.

The new arc, Celebeat said, is focused on Luffy's quest to stop Sanji from marrying Pudding, and manga readers would, of course, know why. Luffy and his crew must find a way to save Sanji from the isolated Whole Cake Island, which Big Mom controls. Nami, Chopper, and Brook will do their best to make their friend escape from Big Mom and her pirates.

The new arc will begin with episode 783, and the visuals released by the website show Big Mom and her pirates in the background, and Luffy and Sanji in front. The image show Luffy looking very determined to stop an angry Sanji.

There are also visuals for Reiju, Ichiji, Niji and Yonji in their specific outfits. They have very important roles in this new arc, so it's only fitting that their visuals are going to be teased, too.

Manga fans would know that there's going to be something major that's going to happen between Sanji and Luffy, but we won't spoil that for fans who are only following the anime series. Anime viewers are in for a roller-coaster ride.

The new arc will begin on April 9, and "One Piece" episode 783 is titled "Sanji's Homecoming - Into Big Mom's Territory!" On Sunday, the anime-original arc, "Marine Rookie" ended. The series also featured a short anime-original "Silver Mine Arc" after the "Dressrosa Arc" ended. The "Zou Arc" then launched in July.
