Speculations about the "HTC 10" successor have been spreading the internet for quite a while now. Anticipations are high regarding the new HTC phone but details about its specs, price, and release date are not yet confirmed.

Although it is expected to be named "HTC 11," however, the Taiwanese company is planning to rename it in order to sync the device to its virtual reality "Vibe" franchise. Instead of "HTC 11," the upcoming smartphone might be renamed as "HTC U" or "HTC U Vibe," making it a great addition to the "HTC U series," according to Science World Report. Another information came out from Evan Blass, a famous leakster. According to him, HTC Ocean might be the name of the next generation smartphone. All of these statements remains as speculation at this point of time for official information from HTC is not yet released to the public.

"HTC 11" specs may feature a 5.5-inch display with a 1,440 x 2,560 resolution. The smartphone might also have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB to 6GB RAM, a 128GB of onboard storage and a 3700 mAh battery. It might also have a 12MP main camera and an 8MP front camera.

A leaked image of the upcoming "HTC 11" screenshot has been hanging around the web. According to Know Your Mobile, the image showed the "About Phone" screen of "HTC 11." The said image gave out information regarding the smartphone having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, 6GB RAM and 1556 x 2550 pixel resolution on the display. It may also feature a new Sense 9.0 UI overlay on top of Android "7.12" Nougat. HTC fans must not hype up yet to this information about this new HTC smartphone because this leaked picture's credibility is not yet proven to be true.

Soon HTC will start testing its 2017 flagship smartphone to Verizon. This report came from HTC Source and there are great expectations that this would be the new "HTC 11." The release date is rumored to happen in the third quarter of this year. Official announcements from the Taiwanese smartphone maker about "HTC 11" have not been released yet, so HTC fans are advised to take the reports lightly for the meantime.
