There will be less than nine months before the highly anticipated live-action movie adaptation of the hit anime series, "Fullmetal Alchemist" will hit the theaters. The excitement is greater than ever and fans are going crazy thinking they will see their beloved anime become a live-action movie. To add more spice, Hiromu Arakawa will be having an art exhibit featuring numerous artwork including new ones that are made for that purpose.

The author of the original manga series, Arakawa, hasn't drawn anything for the franchise for almost five years, ever since she drew the cover for the final volume of the manga's perfect edition. However, the mega-exhibition that will be held from September 16 to October 29 will feature original arts and storyboards of "Fullmetal Alchemists." The display was first announced on Twitter that came up with a brand new original art from Arakawa herself as reported by Comic Book.

The upcoming display will be housed on Tokyo Dome City Gallery AaMo that will be highlighting over a hundred of original manga arts, color graphics and a video introducing her drawing process. The anime's storyboards will also be featured as well as costumes and props that will be used in the upcoming live-action film. Aside from the amazing arts that will be displayed, audio guidance by the voice actors will be displayed together with original merchandise that are made just for the exhibit.

As for the main movie itself, Warner Bros. revealed on their official twitter account a photo of Alphonse Elric complete in his full CG. It seems that Warner Bros. is a devoted practitioner of the Law of Equivalent Exchange as they go extra miles for the adaptation to become a success. According to Nerdist, the story revolves around two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric where the two of them performed an alchemy taboo to revive their dead mother.

The movie was first heard of last May and is slated to release on December 1 in Japan. There are no announcement if the movie will debut in the States. It is safe to bet that US fans will have a chance to see the movie via Blu-ray release just like the live-action Rurouni Kenshin films.
