The popular manga-based anime by Kohei Horikoshi "My Hero Academia" has expanded its streaming platform. Hulu and Crunchyroll will have English-subtitled simulcast episodes of Season 2.

Funimation® Entertainment announced the great news today as reported by Yahoo! Finance. As part of the simultaneous premiere in Japan, Hulu, and Crunchyroll streaming will begin on April 1 along with the English SimulDub on FunimationNow. The company announced March of last year that they have acquired exclusive international rights to the anime series.

Gen Fukunaga, CEO and founder of Funimation said that they are happy to partner with both Hulu and Crunchyroll to "bring 'My Hero Academia' Season 2 to both their streaming services." He added that they are looking forward to launching Season 2 with them together with FunimationNow during the simultaneous premiere.

Mike DuBoise, EVP and COO of Funimation said that this move would make "My Hero Academia" pre accessible to fans. Funimation will also release the " Season 1 on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD starting April 18.

Crunchyroll said that as part of their on-going partnership with Funimation, a complete run of "My Hero Academia" Season 1 will be available for viewing shortly before Season 2 airs so that everyone can catch up. This will be available in many different areas which include US, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

To those who are yet planning to watch the anime, "My Hero Academia" is the story about Izuku Midoriya, a regular middle school student without any powers but who has big dreams. He goes to a school which cultivates the next generation of heroes. He was bullied because he didn't have any powers of "Quirks." But as fate would have it, the world's greatest Hero, All Might, gave him his own Quirk called "One For All."
