The highly requested "Limitless Season 2" might get a chance to be aired. The problem, however, is that right now; no network would want to produce it while CBS made it clear that they are done with the show and will not be part of it anymore.

"Limitless" Season 2 is in high demand. Truth is, fans have started an online petition, which has been going on for months already. At present, the online petition site has 53, 913 followers and growing. These fans were requesting for the show's season 2 to be aired.

On the part of the "Limitless" producers, no one is giving up too. Just recently, "Burnt" actor and one of the show's producers, Bradley Cooper, along with others, were reportedly talking to several networks in the hope of redeeming the series. Moreover, Executive Producer Craig Sweeny has a storyline ready for the highly on-demand season.

Cinema Blend reported that the next season according to Sweeny would not entirely focus on Brian Finch (Jake McDorman). In addition, the element of NZT would still be there although some modifications might be made.

"Limitless" is a TV show that tackles the controversial NZT pill on its storyline. The CBS series started with impressive ratings. However, as the show proceeded, the ratings started to plummet and so is their chance of getting a second season run. Another factor that affects the decision of Netflix and Amazon in taking in the show is its controversial plot about NZT.

As of this writing, no updates have been released yet about the "Limitless Season 2's" new home. Despite the growing numbers of fans making the online petition, no development has been confirmed yet. We will keep you posted about new updates as soon as information becomes available. For now, fans could only hope that the efforts of the show's producers in lobbying with several networks would be fruitful.
